My name is Dionne Clark, and I am a doctoral student in English at Georgia State University. Currently, I serve as a graduate teaching assistant in Lower Division Studies and teach first year composition.

This site chronicles my professional record and reflections of my instructional history as a composition instructor at Georgia State University. Its also serves a space for potential and finished academic projects, and a form of academic conversation for my research. I also hope that my work, shared experiences on the blog, and journey as a Black woman in academia will lend itself to the multitude of narratives by women of color, and inspire creativity, hope, and dedicated faith in one’s personal history and vision.
